Announcing the winners of the 2010 Festive Lights Awards!

This year's winners are: The Waddens and the Butlers. Each will receive a gift basket as soon as possible.

What a great night...thanks again for all your work in arranging the 5th annual Christmas competition. It was a lot of fun!
There were many beautifully decorated homes to choose from this year and,as always it was tough to make a decision and award only 2 prizes. Here is a brief run down of the winners and some photos attached:
	A number of families outdid themselves again this year with some spectacular decorations.	That said, we decided to spread the joy this holiday season and award prizes to homes that have not won for the past number of years.
	The winner of the Traditional Category was: 179 SILVER BIRCH Terry & Valerie Wadden. We loved the very classic, traditional decorations,huge wreath, flood lights, and beautifully lit covered porch.
	The winner of the Contemporary Category was: 99 WOODLAND Galen & Jon Butler. This Gingerbread house was all trimmed in so many lights, with much care and attention to detail. The strings of lights between 2 trees to look like an evergreen was a great new addition!
There are so many other homes that are beautifully decorated, we thought we'd include a few HONOURABLE MENTIONS: 16 JUNIPER - Ian and Susan Swan. Last year's winners are beautifully decorated again this year. Make sure to check out the carollers and the huge lit tree - you can't miss it. JUNIPER - Gary & Jenny Graves. The Grave's home looks beautiful year over year. We always love the huge display of tall, lit trees in front of their home! 21 FIVE ISLAND - Carl & Joy Hart - We loved the classic Christmas red and green featured in their bushes. The Harts seem to add to their decorations year over year. 26 WOODLAND - Janet & William Nichols - Every kid should check out this flashing light display. So colourful and fun! 109 FIVE ISLAND - Phil & Sandy Rogers - An elegant, traditional classic set for the quintessential Christmas family.
